2026–2027 Tuition & Payment Information
Season Length
The 2026–2027 dance season runs from August 2026 through May 2027 and includes 32 scheduled class weeks.
Tuition is calculated based on 30 instructional weeks, rather than all 32 scheduled weeks. This allows DancEast to build in flexibility for up to two class cancellations during the season due to circumstances beyond our control, such as inclement weather, facility issues, instructor illness, or other unforeseen events.
Because tuition is based on 30 instructional weeks, no refunds, credits, or makeup classes will be provided for the first two cancellations affecting a class during the season.
If a class is canceled more than two times during the season for reasons beyond DancEast's control, DancEast will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include:
A makeup class
A tuition credit
A reduction in a future tuition payment
The method of remediation will be determined by DancEast based on scheduling feasibility and the circumstances involved.
Tuition Rates
Tuition is calculated based on the number and length of classes in which a student is enrolled.
30- and 45-Minute Classes
$27.50 per class
60- and 75-Minute Classes
1st and 2nd class: $30 per class

$30 per class × 30 classes = $900 per season
Monthly payment plan: $90/month
Example 2: One 30- or 45-Minute Class
$27.50 per class × 30 classes = $825 per season
Monthly payment plan: $82.50/month
Example 3: Three 60- or 75-Minute Classes Plus Pointe
First two classes: 2 × $30 × 30 = $1,800
Third class: 1 × $25 × 30 = $750
Pointe: 1 × $20 × 30 = $600
Total: $3,150 per season
Monthly payment plan: $315/month
Payment Options
Families may choose one of the following payment options:
Pay in Full
Pay the full season tuition upfront and receive a 10% discount on tuition.
To receive the discount, notify us that you would like to pay in full by emailing info@danceast.org. Payment must be made by July 31, 2026 to receive the discount.
The pay-in-full discount applies to tuition only and does not apply to registration fees, performance fees, or other charges.
Monthly Payment Plan
Season tuition may be paid in 10 equal monthly installments.
Installment payments are due on the 1st day of each month, or on the business day prior if the 1st falls on a weekend or bank holiday.
The August tuition installment is due on August 3, 2026.
Late Enrollment
Students are welcome to enroll after the start of the season, provided space remains available in the class.
Tuition for students who enroll after the season has begun will be prorated based on the number of instructional weeks remaining. Families will not be charged for classes that occurred prior to the student's enrollment date.
For example, if a student enrolls on September 15, tuition will be adjusted to reflect only the remaining classes in the season.
The annual registration fee will still apply to all new enrollments, regardless of enrollment date.
Students who enroll after the start of the season are subject to the same performance fee requirements as all other enrolled students.
Additional Fees
Registration Fee
A non-refundable $60 registration fee is due at the time of registration.
The registration fee is charged once per student per season, regardless of the number of classes in which the student enrolls.
Performance Fee
An $80 performance fee will be charged on February 20, 2027 for each participating student enrolled in one class.
Students enrolled in two or more classes will be charged a total performance fee of $120.
The performance fee helps cover the costs associated with our annual May performance, including costumes, venue rental, sound, lighting, and other production expenses.
The performance fee does not include audience tickets for the performance. Information regarding ticket sales, pricing, and purchasing procedures will be distributed when tickets become available.
Performance Participation
Participation in DancEast's annual May performance is considered part of the full-season experience and is the expectation for all students enrolled in classes that perform in the show.
We understand that extraordinary circumstances may occasionally prevent a student from participating in the performance while still allowing them to complete the remainder of the dance season.
Families in this situation must notify DancEast in writing no later than February 15, 2027 if they wish to request an exemption from performance participation and avoid being charged the performance fee.
Requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and must be approved by DancEast.
Additional Information
We encourage all families to review our Policies Page, which includes important information about attendance, withdrawals, refunds, performance participation, weather-related cancellations, and other DancEast policies.
